From enterprise to awareness, Elizabeth Maplesden has been speaking the language of visuals for many years as a graphic designer, art director, illustrator, and writer. As owner of her own design firm, EMdash Design, she has created works that have been honored within the design industry. Additionally, she has worked with (and for) some of the most respected and innovative people, companies, agencies, and institutions by shaping their branding, promotions, and publications. These entities are found in the industries of culture, entertainment, publishing, advertising, medical sciences, higher education, and business.

She earned a bachelors of fine arts degree in graphic and interactive design from Tyler School of Art + Architecture of Temple University. She has also authored articles for, and has been quoted in, industry publications.
